We are a family run nursery with 2 settings in Sunderland. We are looking for level 3 qualified nursery educators to join our lovely team on a part time basis. We aim to provide an enriched learning experience with the flexibility to get out into our local environment.

Job role

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
  • Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery area
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

Skills Needed

  • Must have Full and Relevant qualification, a DBS and Paediatric first aid (or able to go on a course)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience and understanding to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Full and part time positions available
