We are a family run nursery setting in Sunderland. We are looking for level 2 qualified nursery practitioners to join our lovely team on a full or part time basis. We aim to provide an enriched learning experience with the flexibility to get out into our local environment.
Job role
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences
- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery area
- Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
Skills Needed
- Must have Full and Relevant qualification, a DBS and Paediatric first aid (or able to go on a course)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience and understanding to meet the individual needs of each child
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
