Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to maintain consistency and elevate brand identity across digital touchpoints.
- Expert in working with Figma, ensuring smooth handoffs and alignment through effective internal collaboration with teams.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and developers.
- Expertise in designing user-centered interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. Knowledge and expertise in creating UX artefacts such as user flows, personas and wireframes.
- Ability to structure content effectively on a website, creating intuitive navigation systems and content hierarchies that enhance usability.
- Proficiency in designing layouts that adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and orientations, ensuring a consistent experience across devices.
- Experience with designing and developing accessible websites that follow WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), ensuring that all users, regardless of ability, can engage with the website content.
- Experience creating subtle micro-animations and motion design principles to enhance user interaction and delight users.
- Deep expertise and experience (minimum 2 years) in building, and launching websites on Webflow, covering key features and functions of the platform listed below:
- Expertise in setting up and managing dynamic content using Webflow’s CMS and Collections, including creating custom templates and content-driven websites.
- Advanced knowledge of Webflow’s interactions and animations panel to build advanced scroll, hover, and click-triggered animations that enhance user experience.
- Proficiency in creating fully responsive websites using Webflow’s visual editor, with detailed control over breakpoints to optimize for different screen sizes (mobile, tablet, desktop).
- Ability to seamlessly integrate custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and third-party tools/widgets into Webflow projects to extend functionality beyond the native platform capabilities.
- Expertise in setting up Webflow hosting, configuring custom domains, SSL certificates, and ensuring SEO best practices are implemented (e.g., meta tags, alt text, URL structure).
- Proficiency in using Webflow’s Symbols feature to create reusable components (headers, footers, etc.) across pages for easy updates and consistent design.
- Knowledge of building and customising Webflow forms for lead generation, contact forms, or newsletter subscriptions, and integrating them with third-party services like Mailchimp or Zapier.
- Familiarity with integrating Webflow with external tools and plugins, such as Google Analytics, social media sharing, or CRMs like HubSpot, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with creating and managing Webflow project backups and versioning to ensure safety and rollback capabilities throughout the development process.
- Expertise in creating scalable, reusable design systems and style guides within Webflow to ensure consistent application of design patterns across multiple pages or projects.
