We are an established and expanding provider of children’s residential care, operating multiple therapeutic children’s homes across London Boroughs. We support young people aged 11–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs, delivering high-quality, child-centred care in nurturing residential settings.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Children’s Home Manager / Registered Manager to lead one of our London-based homes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation with strong clinical input, clear values, and outstanding professional and financial rewards.

The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s residential home within the London Boroughs
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards
  • Provide strong leadership, supervision and development to the residential staff team
  • Promote safeguarding, stability and emotional wellbeing for children and young people
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, incident management and reporting
  • Maintain Ofsted readiness and confidently manage inspections
  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager, Responsible Individual and senior leadership team
  • Collaborate with social workers, education providers and clinical professionals
  • Embed therapeutic, trauma-informed and child-centred practice across the service

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children, including at least 1 year in a senior or management role
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, Quality Standards and safeguarding requirements
  • Proven experience managing or supporting the management of a children’s residential home
  • Confident leadership, staff supervision and team development skills
  • Experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH or complex needs
