Residential Children’s Home Manager Location: London Boroughs Salary: up to £80,000 + bonuses + benefits We are an established and expanding provider of children’s residential care, operating multiple therapeutic children’s homes across London Boroughs. We support young people aged 11–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs, delivering high-quality, child-centred care in nurturing residential settings. We are seeking an experienced Residential Children’s Home Manager / Registered Manager to lead one of our London-based homes. The Role * Lead the day-to-day management of a children’s residential home within the London Boroughs * Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards * Provide strong leadership, supervision and development to the residential staff team * Promote safeguarding, stability and emotional wellbeing for children and young people * Oversee care planning, risk assessments, incident management and reporting * Maintain Ofsted readiness and confidently manage inspections * Work closely with the Deputy Manager, Responsible Individual and senior leadership team * Collaborate with social workers, education providers and clinical professionals * Embed therapeutic, trauma-informed and child-centred practice across the service Essential Requirements * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent * Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children, including at least 1 year in a senior or management role * Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, Quality Standards and safeguarding requirements * Proven experience managing or supporting the management of a children’s residential home * Confident leadership, staff supervision and team development skills * Experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH or complex needs What’s on Offer * Salary up to £80,000 per annum * Annual performance-related bonus * Ofsted registration bonus * Company vehicle * Fully funded Level 7 qualification and specialist therapeutic training * Access to a clinical psychologist for professional development and wellbeing Why Join Us? * Work across a provider with multiple homes throughout London Boroughs * Strong senior leadership and Responsible Individual support * Therapeutic, well-resourced children’s homes * Clear focus on staff wellbeing, development and progression * Opportunity to lead a stable service and achieve outstanding outcomes If you are an experienced Registered Manager or Residential Children’s Home Manager seeking a London-based role with genuine support, competitive rewards and progression, we would love to hear from you
