Ayesa is looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Building Structures) to join our dynamic team in Guildford. What You\’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver structural design packages across diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and technical delivery across project stages.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and project requirements.
- Oversee project timelines, team resources, and deliverables.
- Contribute to proposals, bids, and business development activities.
- Uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout.
What You Bring
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered (or working toward) with ICE or IStructE.
- Minimum 5 years’ structural design and project delivery experience in the UK/Ireland.
- Skilled in structural analysis/design software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Robot).
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and local regulations.
- Effective communicator and team leader, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of BIM processes and tools (e.g. Revit).
- Background in multidisciplinary consultancy environments.
