Ayesa is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UK, preferably in our London office. You'll drive high-impact projects from concept through to construction and help grow our Water engineering capability in the region.

Responsibilities
- Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development.
- Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
- Management of the day-to-day work of the team.
- Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business.
- Monitors and manages compliance and KPIs.
- Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets.
- Management of engineering outsource partners.
Qualifications
- Member of a relevant professional body e.g. IMechE, CIWEM.
- Demonstrate level of competence in mechanical and instrumentation design in the water/wastewater industry environment.
- Demonstrate a level of competence in practical mechanical installation experience in the water/wastewater industry environment.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role in the water and wastewater industry.
- A good understanding of modular build construction processes and procedures.
- Experienced in the installation, commissioning and proving of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) systems.
- Experience of Water, Wastewater and Sludge Treatment Centres.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant standards, regulations and codes of practice.
- Extensive site experience of water and recycling operations.
- Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during the project life cycle.
- An experienced manager of people and teams, developing others, and managing staff welfare.
- Experience, or a strong understanding of construction, procurement, and commissioning.
