Position
Ayesa is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop the Process and MEICA team, focusing on the delivery of projects in the UK and Saudi Arabia. This role will provide essential electrical engineering expertise for water and wastewater treatment plants, complementing our existing capabilities and contributing to the successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Electrical Lead Engineer and other stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of projects in both Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare engineering reports, designs, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate, liaise, and engage with clients and key stakeholders effectively.
- Integrate within a multidisciplinary design team to deliver robust design solutions.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines including mechanical, civil, process, and structural.
- Manage challenging workloads efficiently and adhere to Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations.
- Represent and promote Ayesa professionally, developing effective working relationships with clients and potential clients.
- Manage projects in compliance with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
Requirements
Experience Criteria:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in water treatment and/or wastewater & industrial effluent treatment.
- Chartered status or progressing towards Chartered status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a master’s degree.

Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in designing electrical installations for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
- Experience in assessing capacities, load schedules, and power supply requirements.
- Strong liaison skills with power utility companies for managing power supply upgrades and connections.
- Extensive project experience across feasibility, outline, detailed design, and construction support phases.
- Ability to produce design drawings, electrical plant selections, and specifications.
- Proficient in producing electrical layouts, technical specifications, equipment schedules, single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, calculations, and control philosophies.
- Deep understanding of relevant electrical specifications and standards such as WIMES.
- Proven track record in electrical design, application engineering, proposal support, and operational support.
- Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD) and staying updated with industry developments.
