What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of renewable energy infrastructure projects including Grid assets, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar and onshore wind developments.
- Assisting Project Managers in the coordination of design projects in the energy sector.
- Supporting the head of energy in planning tendering and work winning.
- Managing delegated work packages and coordinating contractors, engineers and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting contract administration under NEC and FIDIC frameworks, including contractual communications and change management.
- Assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting and cost reporting processes.
- Monitoring project schedules and supporting programme activities.
- Producing governance documentation to support project stage gate approvals.
- Coordinating stakeholder engagement across contractors, grid operators, regulatory bodies and internal teams.
- Supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with project safety requirements.
What You Bring
- Recent 3 to 5 years of experience supporting delivery of engineering, infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
- Understanding of project governance, project lifecycle management and programme coordination.
- Familiarity with construction contracts such as NEC or FIDIC.
- Experience supporting cost management, forecasting or financial reporting processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documentation and multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Degree in engineering, project management or a related discipline or working towards project management qualifications or chartership is desirable.
