Job Description
AYBL Group is a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce group specializing in online activewear and fashion. Our brands include AYBL, known for its activewear, and Because of Alice (BOA), known for its fashion apparel. We excel in creating and scaling e-commerce companies with a world-class team of founders who have a proven track record. For more information, visit our website: www.ayblgroup.com.
The Head of Supply Chain & Logistics will lead AYBL Group’s end-to-end global supply chain across both AYBL and Because of Alice (BOA) ensuring products are sourced, produced, and delivered to the highest standards of speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational control, covering sourcing, production, quality, freight, warehousing, and fulfilment. The ideal candidate will thrive in managing two distinct brand models. AYBL’s performance-driven, high-volume supply chain and BOA’s premium fashion, lower-volume, higher-quality operation.
They will bring a data-led, commercially minded approach with the ability to scale, systemise, and professionalise AYBL Group’s global supply network as the business grows toward institutional readiness.
- Define and execute AYBL Group’s global supply chain and logistics strategy, aligned to growth, margin, and sustainability goals.
- Balance and optimise the differing needs of AYBL and BOA — from lead times and supplier mix to QC standards and delivery windows.
- Partner with Finance, Merchandising, and Product to improve inventory efficiency, landed costs, and working capital.
- Manage vendor relationships across Asia and Europe, negotiating commercial terms and long-term capacity.
- Oversee the full critical path from design handover through production to ex-factory.
- Lead the Quality Control function — setting testing protocols, factory audit standards, and inspection procedures to minimise returns and ensure consistent product excellence.
- Maintain supplier performance scorecards, driving continuous improvement in lead times, cost, and quality.
- Own global freight and customs operations, managing inbound flows to UK, EU, US, and CA distribution centres.
- Lead 3PL and warehouse relationships, ensuring service levels, scalability, and cost control.
- Oversee outbound logistics for DTC, wholesale, and marketplace fulfilment, maintaining fast and reliable customer delivery experiences.
- Manage returns and reverse logistics processes across all regions.
- Oversee global inventory planning and forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels across both brands.
- Ensure ERP, WMS, and PLM systems are integrated and delivering real-time supply visibility.
- Build performance dashboards for landed cost, lead time, OTIF, and quality metrics.
- Lead and develop a cross-functional team covering sourcing, production, logistics, QC, and inventory.
- Foster a culture of accountability, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the supply chain supports commercial and creative priorities.
- 10–15 years’ experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations in apparel or consumer goods.
- Deep experience managing both sourcing and logistics within multi-brand or global environments.
- Proven track record scaling DTC and wholesale fulfilment models.
- Strong technical understanding of production, quality assurance, and vendor compliance.
- Commercially minded, data-driven, and confident negotiating at board and factory level.
- Hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives in fast-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
