What We’re Looking For

We are hiring an Account Executive to drive revenue growth across European institutional clients. This role is suited to an investment professional with experience as a product strategist at a quantitative investment firm, or a sales professional with experience selling signals, data, and AI/fintech solutions to institutional investors and related firms. You will own the full sales cycle, from early‑stage client validation and prospecting through to closing, whilst working directly with senior leadership on strategic accounts.

Location & Work Mode: London, UK / Northern Italy (Milan or Modena) - Hybrid

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the full sales cycle for institutional clients
  • Develop and close new business opportunities with asset managers, wealth managers/private banks, hedge funds, and related firms
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships
  • Conduct product demos and commercial negotiations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM (HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Research teams to refine the go‑to‑market strategy
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, deal structuring, and market positioning

What You Need

  • 5‑10 years of experience in Institutional B2B sales, preferably in:
  • Quantitative investing
  • Fintech
  • Signals/data / Alternative Data used by investors
  • Or: 5‑10 years of experience in a product strategy role within a quantitative investment management team/firm
  • Hands‑on experience in explaining the investment approach to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Common requirements:

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Strong understanding of institutional investors and financial markets
    • Excellent communication skills in English (C1–C2)
    • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑growing environment

    Nice to Have

    • Background at firms operating in quantitative signals, alternative data, or AI‑driven investment strategies.
    • Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders (PMs, quants, CIOs)
    • A well‑established client network and demonstrated ability to originate deals from existing relationships.
