- Objectives: Define clear objectives, encourage knowledge sharing, and support continuous professional development; develop a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Data Platform: Ensure scalable, secure architectures that comply with best practices (data modelling, ELT/ETL, SQL); ensure overall coherence of the data ecosystem.
- AI Integration: Ensure the implementation of robust MLOps practices (deployment, monitoring, operation, and value creation).
- Delivery Management: Prioritise and plan team activities in conjunction with Product Owners and Project Managers; arbitrate between new initiatives and technical debt to ensure realism, quality, and commitment adherence; ensure project quality and delivery.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure adherence to engineering standards (design, development, testing, CI/CD, documentation) within a DataOps approach; promote best development practices.
- Operations: Oversee monitoring, optimisation, and incident management; lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Integration teams (Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow) and Architecture to ensure alignment with corporate standards and governance.
- Governance: Proven experience in delivering large-scale data platforms.
- Leadership: Excellent team management and communication skills; ability to thrive in complex and cross-functional environments; strong ability to mobilise and engage stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Data pipelines and integration (SQL, Python, dbt, Fivetran, Talend, Airflow); cloud data platforms (ideally Snowflake) and AWS or similar environments; data modelling (dimensional, Data Vault) and architecture design; knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle and MLOps principles; DataOps practices and software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, documentation).
- Collaboration: Active contribution to the company’s data strategy and technology roadmaps.
