We are looking for a People Advisor to join a fast-paced, growing business supporting a high-volume operational environment. This role sits at the heart of the organisation, working closely with managers and teams to navigate employee relations, support recruitment activity, and improve the overall employee experience.
While this is a hands-on, operational role, we are particularly interested in individuals who are naturally curious and motivated to understand why issues occur, not just how to resolve them.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance
- Supporting managers with coaching and guidance on people-related matters
- Delivering recruitment coordination and onboarding activity across the UK
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Supporting engagement, wellbeing and learning initiatives
- Assisting with day-to-day people queries and office-based activities
Where You’ll Add Real Value:
- Identify recurring themes and trends within ER cases
- Spot patterns in attrition, onboarding, or performance challenges
- Suggest practical improvements to processes, training, or ways of working
- Contribute to a more proactive, forward-thinking people function
About You:
- Has strong HR generalist experience, particularly within Employee Relations
- Is confident handling sensitive and complex conversations
- Has a good understanding of UK employment law
- Is organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a varied workload
But importantly, someone who:
- Thinks beyond the immediate issue
- Is curious about root causes and long-term improvements
- Enjoys solving problems, not just managing them
- Wants to grow into a more strategic HR role over time
Why This Role?
This is a great opportunity for someone who:
- Wants exposure to both operational and strategic HR
- Enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Is ready to take the next step beyond purely reactive HR
If you’re someone who enjoys improving how things work, not just keeping them running, we’d love to hear from you.
