We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Intern to join the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, based in London. This role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth fintech and crypto environment, working alongside experienced professionals on real business initiatives. You will contribute to meaningful projects that support developer experience, platform observability and cost control, while developing practical skills and gaining exposure to how a global technology company operates. Duration: 6‑month internship, with potential for permanent employment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support day‑to‑day activities and projects within the SRE - Core team.
- Assist in delivering initiatives related to internal developer platform based on the open‑source framework Backstage.
- Improve existing processes for cost monitoring and resource usage optimisation.
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across our Engineering organisation.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, or insights for internal stakeholders.
- Learn industry best practices and contribute ideas to improve processes and outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a scientific discipline.
- An enthusiasm for tooling and using the command line.
- Experience with at least one of the languages: Python, Golang or JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Git and Github.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
