At AXPE Consulting, we are driving high-impact IT transformation projects across international environments. As part of a strategic engagement within a global retail integration programme, we are looking for an AESOP RUN Integration Consultant to lead the capture, structuring, and transfer of critical IT operational knowledge. This role is essential to ensure business continuity by preventing the loss of undocumented expertise and enabling a new support team to operate effectively from day one.
What will you be doing?
You will operate at the intersection of IT Service Delivery, Business Analysis, and Knowledge Management, working within a complex international retail environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Knowledge Discovery & Assessment
- Conduct structured discovery sessions with the outgoing IT support team
- Map applications, integrations, vendors, and operational processes
- Identify undocumented dependencies, informal workflows, and escalation paths
- Application & Platform Knowledge Capture
- You will document key applications within the retail ecosystem, including:
- POS systems (Cegid)
- Clienteling applications
- Workforce management tools
- Traffic analytics and payment systems
- For each application, you will capture:
- Functional and technical ownership
- Vendor relationships
- Known issues and workarounds
- Support procedures and escalation paths
- Design and structure Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs)
- Document troubleshooting guides, support processes, and escalation matrices
- Ensure high-quality documentation aligned with enterprise standards
- Build a clear overview of the IT retail landscape across multiple countries
- Document store estate, operational models, and support flows
- Maintain documentation as a living, evolving knowledge base
- Identify internal and external stakeholders across IT and business teams
- Define roles, responsibilities, and interaction models
- Build a clear RACI matrix aligned with organisational standards
- Understand a multi-country retail environment (stores, users, systems)
- Capture variations in systems, processes, and configurations
- Document the end-to-end customer journey supported by IT systems
- Support the transition to a new support team
- Deliver structured knowledge transfer sessions
- Travel for final handover (approx. 2 weeks, expenses covered)

We are looking for a professional with strong experience in IT environments, documentation, and service operations, capable of working autonomously in complex and ambiguous contexts.

- Experience in Business Analysis (discovery, requirements gathering, documentation)
- Solid background in IT Service Delivery / ITSM
- Strong experience creating structured documentation in complex environments
- Ability to manage a time-bound project independently
- Excellent written and communication skills
Technical & functional experience
- Knowledge of IT support operations, incident management, and service transition
- Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow and Confluence
- Understanding of application landscapes, vendors, and integrations
Soft skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to extract and structure tacit knowledge
- High adaptability and resilience in ambiguous environments
