Axon Moore are partnering with a global services business in South Yorkshire to appoint a Director of Finance, who will be the financial lead in the UK business. The UK business is experiencing significant growth with certain revenue streams up 40% on the previous year. The Director of Finance will report into the local Managing Director with a dotted line into the Group CFO based overseas at the international head office.
This broad financial leadership role will include the following responsibilities:
- Leadership of the finance team and member of the senior leadership team
- Overseeing all day to day and month end reporting activities
- Lead the audit at financial year end ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Business Partnering the Managing Director, and supporting the commercial and operational activities in the business from a financial perspective
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following background and experience:
- Qualified finance professional with experience in a financial leadership role
- Experience working for a UK business within an internationally owned group would be advantageous
- Services sector experience preferred
- Strong controls and technical accounting experience
