Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a leading Insurance organisation as they look to appoint a Senior Group Reporting Accountant into their specialist finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious technical accountant to join a complex and highly regulated environment, gaining exposure across Solvency II reporting, IFRS 17, group reporting and wider finance transformation initiatives.
The role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial and regulatory reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders across the Group and contributing to ongoing technical accounting developments. About You:
- We are looking for a technically strong accountant with experience within a regulated financial services environment, who enjoys working on complex reporting requirements and driving improvements.
- You will ideally have:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS 17 experience
- Experience of Solvency II reporting or working within an insurance environment
- A background in financial reporting, group reporting, audit or technical accounting
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate and timely information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- The ability to manage relationships across internal teams and external advisors
