This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a growing business.

Reporting directly into the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in managing the finance operations while supporting wider business activities.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Purchase Ledger Process, code and post supplier invoices onto Sage Accounts.

Maintain accurate purchase ledger records.

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare supplier payment runs.

Produce aged creditor reports.

Sales Ledger Raise and process customer invoices.

Allocate incoming customer payments.

Manage credit control activities, including chasing outstanding debts.

Produce aged debtor reports and monitor customer balances.

Banking & Cash Management Manage the online banking platform.

Process and allocate incoming and outgoing payments.

Complete regular bank reconciliations.

Support day-to-day cash flow management.

Invoice Finance Manage the company's invoice finance facility.

Submit invoices for funding.

Reconcile the invoice finance ledger with the sales ledger.

Allocate customer receipts and investigate discrepancies.

Act as the key contact for the invoice finance provider.

Liaise with external providers regarding funding, reconciliations and account queries.

Financial Administration Maintain accurate accounting records and financial ledgers.

Assist with month-end activities.

Support the preparation of management information and financial reporting.

Maintain audit-ready financial documentation.

Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisers and banking partners.

Office Administration Respond to finance and administrative enquiries.

Monitor shared company inboxes.

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.

Provide general office administration support.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accounts or similar all-round finance position.

Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounts (essential).

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.

Experience working within an SME environment would be advantageous.

What's on Offer Salary of 40,000 – 50,000.

Permanent, full-time position.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm.
