This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take a key role in driving financial performance, providing insight to senior stakeholders, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.Reporting to the Finance Director / Head of FP&A, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, and commercial insight. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.This is a varied and high-impact role within a fast-paced FMCG environment, offering excellent exposure to senior leadership and genuine opportunities for career progression.Key responsibilities:Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesProducing accurate monthly management reports, forecasts, and performance analysisAnalysing financial and commercial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunitiesProviding insightful commentary and recommendations to senior leadershipBusiness partnering with commercial, sales, operations, and supply chain teamsSupporting strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling and scenario analysisDeveloping and maintaining financial models to support business planning and investment decisionsMonitoring KPIs, profitability, margins, costs, and working capital performanceSupporting long-term financial planning and wider commercial strategyImproving reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and the use of financial data across the businessPresenting financial insight to senior stakeholders in a clear and commercially focused mannerAbout you:ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent relevant experiencePrevious experience within FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting, or a similar analytical finance roleStrong experience across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysisExcellent Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience working with large and complex datasetsStrong commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insightConfident business partner with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levelsExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience within FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or another fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageousThis is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to step into a senior FP&A position within a successful and growing FMCG business.
