The Account Executive II role is responsible for building pipeline, managing an assigned territory and closing business within assigned accounts in the corporate market. This role takes ownership of assigned accounts, creates significant growth and moves medium enterprises through the full sales cycle. This could include outbound prospecting, and/or taking and developing a warm lead, creating a buying vision, clearly articulating a value proposition and navigating to power in the enterprise. This role achieves goals defined within the assigned territory by establishing new name accounts as per Axonify's sales methodology and compensation plan.

What You'll Build

  • Take ownership of the assigned enterprise territory and create sufficient pipeline
  • Manage and progress medium enterprises through the full sales cycle
  • Present and demonstrate the Axonify solution to potential prospects via electronic presentation or limited travel, (if appropriate/approved)
  • Assist with marketing campaigns such as trade shows, webinars, website visits and referral inquiries (travel may be required)
  • Create proposals and quotations for qualified prospects
  • Track activities in Salesforce and work with management to create a sales growth plan
  • Monitor competition and marketplace information
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Gain influence and gather stakeholder support among various buying personas within a single deal
  • Manage the negotiation and contract process on deals, seek guidance on unique deal circumstances, escalating as necessary

What You'll Bring

  • 2 - 3 years previous sales experience selling enterprise software solutions
  • Strong preference for fluency in German
  • Demonstrated experience using a solution selling approach selling SaaS software
  • A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, with proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client relationships, prospecting and negotiation skills, with the ability to take routine or modular deals through to close
  • Confidence to manage pipeline from a variety of sources, inbound and outbound
  • Territory management experience
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
