Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a manufacturing business in the Wigan area to appoint a Group Finance Director. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, playing a central part in driving performance, supporting growth and delivering the strategic plan.
This opportunity will suit a commercially focused finance leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable operating across both strategic and operational finance. The role will offer significant exposure to the board, with the opportunity to shape and influence decision-making at the highest level. This is a fully office-based role, requiring a presence on site five days per week.
A full detailed job specification will be shared with relevant candidates but the role will have responsibility for leading all aspects of finance, with a strong emphasis on commercial performance and operational delivery. This will include ownership of stock, costing and margin analysis, alongside driving improvements across reporting, controls and financial insight.
