Axon Moore is recruiting an Interim Group Financial Accountant. This is an urgent requirement for an experienced and qualified Financial Accountant to join a UK based industry leader, who have ambitious growth plans. Circa 3 to 6 month contract (potential to be extended) based on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre (hybrid working).
As Interim Group Financial Accountant you will be the external face of the finance team and will be responsible for statutory accounting, tax and audit. You will help drive the business forward through financial modelling and forecasting.
- Provision of accurate and timely financial information.
- Ownership of year-end external audit process and production of statutory accounts.
- Oversight of all financial controls.
- VAT, payroll taxes, pension and compliance with statutory reporting and taxes.
- Budgeting, forecasting.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Person Specification
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of three years post qualified experience.
- Ideally practice trained (advantageous not a deal breaker).
- Experience with Statutory Accounts / Tax.
- Independent worker, self-driven, entrepreneurial approach.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and meaningful presentation of data.
- Positive attitude, deals with challenge and change.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
