Whether you're a recent graduate, currently studying towards your AAT qualification or have some initial finance experience, this role offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills and progress within a supportive finance team. Salary: Up to 29K DOE + Study Support
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
- Manage invoicing, payment processing and direct debit administration.
- Complete bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve account queries.
- Monitor outstanding debt, support debt resolution and manage deposit protection and refunds.
- Assist with month-end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Support VAT compliance, tax requirements, statutory reporting and year-end audit preparation.
- Maintain financial procedures and support the wider team with ad hoc projects and process improvements.
About You
- A genuine interest in developing a career in accountancy and finance.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
- A relevant degree, AAT studies or some initial finance experience would be advantageous, but experience isn't essential.
