We’re partnering with a highly successful organisation within the logistics sector to recruit an experienced HR Generalist to join their collaborative HR team based in Trafford Park. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role where no two days are the same. From employee engagement and HR projects to systems improvements, reporting and people initiatives, you’ll play a key role in delivering a proactive and high-performing People function across multiple UK business units.
Role
Working closely with the HR Leadership team, you’ll provide comprehensive HR support across the business, helping to drive engagement, improve processes and support strategic people initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys ownership, can confidently juggle multiple priorities and wants to be involved in both operational and project-focused HR activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the HR Leaders across a wide range of people-related initiatives and projects
- Driving employee engagement activities and supporting a positive workplace culture
- Supporting HR systems development, implementation and continuous improvement projects
- Managing employee surveys, analysing feedback and presenting meaningful insights
- Coordinating company awards schemes and long service recognition programmes
- Producing engaging quarterly company newsletters and internal communications
- Supporting talent and succession planning initiatives
- Assisting with management development and employee benefits projects
- Producing HR reports, analysing data and identifying trends
- Supporting administration and coordination of company fleet and benefits
- Providing ad-hoc support with employee relations matters
- Supporting the management of the HR shared service inbox
- Delivering a responsive, high-quality HR service to stakeholders across the business
About You
- 5+ years’ experience within a similar HR role
- Strong HR administration and HR systems experience
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused
- Experience within logistics or operational environments would be advantageous
