A well-established and highly regarded luxury interiors business in Preston is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Sales Administrator to support the continued growth of its commercial division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative, customer-focused organisation known for delivering high-end projects across the tile, bathroom and kitchen sectors. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting commercial sales activity, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and ensuring projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion.

The Role

This position will support the commercial sales function through a mix of administration, customer service, supplier liaison and sales coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and analyse sales reports and performance data.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial Manager.
  • Assist with lead generation and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing and source alternative products where required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support commercial activity.
  • Support meetings, travel arrangements and commercial documentation.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and priorities within a growing department.

Sales Administration & Customer Support

  • Process customer orders, quotations and invoices accurately.
  • Manage customer accounts, order tracking and follow-up communication.
  • Prepare sales proposals, presentations and supporting documents.
  • Maintain accurate CRM systems and sales databases.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including logistics and finance to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and support.
  • Resolve customer issues relating to orders, billing and product information.
  • Provide product guidance and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Sales Administration or Customer Service position.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, order management and customer relationship management.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Experience within interiors, construction, bathrooms, kitchens or tiles would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Positive, adaptable and proactive approach to work.
