That means handling in-depth, technical queries, supporting organisations that use the company\’s leading payroll platform, and solving issues that go way beyond the standard.

You\’ll need to roll your sleeves up, manual calculations, statutory payments (think SMP, SSP, SPL), pension contributions, year-end queries, and troubleshooting across multiple schools and academies. It\\\’s fast paced, and every day brings something new.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving complex payroll queries across tax, pensions, NI, and statutory deductions
  • Providing technical guidance to customers using the platform
  • Manually calculating sick pay, maternity, shared parental leave, etc.
  • Supporting year-end processes (P60s, P11Ds, etc.)
  • Acting as a go-to escalation point for tricky cases and coaching junior team members
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance while delivering top-tier service

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
  • A payroll qualification (Preferred)
  • Strong manual calculation and problem solving skills
  • A calm, solutions focused approach, you\\\’ll be dealing with schools under pressure
  • A desire to develop and grow with a business that\\\’s going places
