Head of Finance | Nottingham | £70,000 – £90,000 + Car + Significant LTIP
Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with an ambitious and growing manufacturing business in Nottingham to appoint a Head of Finance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to join a business at an important stage of its development, with a genuine opportunity to progress as the company grows.
Reporting directly to a finance-trained CEO, the Head of Finance will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst playing a much broader commercial and operational role across the business.
The company has strong growth ambitions but requires transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to improve the quality of finance, reporting, controls and processes, whilst using their understanding of manufacturing to get underneath operational performance and help drive the business forwards.
Please note – a strong manufacturing background is essential for this appointment.
Candidates must have a genuine understanding of a manufacturing environment and be comfortable operating beyond the traditional finance remit. You will need to understand the operational drivers of the business, challenge performance and work closely with stakeholders across manufacturing and operations to improve profitability and support growth.
The opportunity has been designed with progression in mind. The initial salary is £70,000 – £90,000 + car, with the potential for this to increase towards £120,000 in line with the growth of the business and development of the role.
There is also a significant exit-based LTIP, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to participate meaningfully in the longer-term value creation of the business.
This role will suit somebody ambitious who wants more than a traditional Head of Finance position. You will be joining a growing business that requires change, working directly alongside an experienced, finance-trained CEO and with the opportunity for your own role and remuneration to develop significantly as the business progresses.
This role is based on-site near Nottingham five days per week.
