Axon Moore are exclusively working for a fast-growing service-based organisation who are seeking a motivated Sales Team Leader to lead a high-performing sales team in achieving monthly targets while also contributing through hands-on selling. This role combines leadership, coaching, and direct sales activity, with a strong focus on performance, quality, and customer experience. You will play a key role in driving results, developing people, and fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Set clear performance expectations and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly results. Deliver regular coaching, training sessions, and performance feedback. Review call quality, KPIs, and overall team performance. Track sales metrics, analyse trends, and provide regular performance updates. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Conduct daily team meetings and regular performance reviews. Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing work environment. Ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
- Client Engagement & Sales: Convert warm enquiries into consultations or bookings through a direct sales approach. Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Meet or exceed KPIs and quality standards. Conduct outbound follow-up activity where required. Deliver excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and building trust. Accurately document interactions using CRM and internal systems. Maintain strong product and service knowledge. Engage professionally with customers across multiple communication channels, including social media.
About you:
- Experience: Several years' experience of managing and coaching a sales team. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience producing and interpreting sales reports and performance data.
