Axon Moore are exclusively representing a >100 million turnover ecommerce organisation based in South Manchester. They are currently looking for an Interim Head of Financial Reporting to cover for a period of 3 to 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation of statutory financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with deadlines required of a PLC.
- Monitor and review the consolidation of financial statements for all entities within the group.
- Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and GAAP.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts.
- Oversee corporate tax returns including quarterly estimates.
- Identify financial and operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance.
- Act as a key point of contact for financial reporting and compliance matters, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
- Must have strong PLC experience and a thorough working knowledge of reporting guidelines.
- Must have recent audit experience and be comfortable dealing with internal and external audit.
- ACCA or ACA candidate.
- Will consider a professional interim or candidates from a permanent background looking for experience between roles.
