Are you a proactive Health & Safety professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We are looking for an experienced H&S Manager to take ownership of health, safety, and compliance across a fast-paced warehouse and office environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible on-site, building relationships, challenging where needed, and working collaboratively with teams to create a positive safety culture.

The Role

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Health & Safety across a large fulfilment warehouse and office environments. You will ensure compliance, improve safety standards, support managers, and provide practical solutions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Complete risk assessments and implement effective control measures
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Manage COSHH, PPE, manual handling, and safe systems of work
  • Deliver H&S training, inductions, and safety briefings
  • Lead H&S meetings and report on key trends and performance
  • Monitor H&S KPIs and identify areas for improvement
  • Carry out regular warehouse and office inspections
  • Support managers in maintaining strong safety standards
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and promote continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
  • A confident communicator who can influence, challenge, and build relationships
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Someone who is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working on-site
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence required
