Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a rapidly-growing business in their search for an experienced Management Accountant with strong CIS experience who is able to take ownership for the production of management accounts, cashflows, banking and all transactional activities whilst playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the production of monthly management accounts
- Cashflow management
- CIS deductions and monthly returns
- Maintain accurate financial records, i.e. ledgers, journals, and bank statements
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports to assist management in decision-making
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax returns
- Audit support
- Ad-hoc duties, i.e. assisting with insurance, banking, etc.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role
- AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Boast a tenacious, problem-solving attitude
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
