Axon Moore are supporting a high growth, PE backed services business in South Yorkshire to appoint a Head of Finance. The role will report into the Group Finance Director and take on ownership of key financial data for a number of entities, and be accountable for ensuring all information is correctly submitted and reported on. This role can offer the successful candidate progression within a fast paced and growing Private Equity backed business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function and owning all reporting activities
- Preparing year-end financial statements and closely managing all monthly reporting
- Streamlining and improving reporting
- Ensuring robust financial controls procedures are adhered to
- Implementing new account policies and frameworks where necessary
Candidate
- We are seeking a financial leader (Qualified Accountant) who has a strong operational finance and technical finance background
- Likely to have been a Financial Controller / Head of Finance in a large, growing business
- Able to manage change and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple systems and stakeholder relationships
This is a hybrid role where candidates will be required in the office ca. 3 days per week.
