Axon Moore are exclusively supporting a fast-growing international Manufacturing Group in the search for a commercially driven, technically strong Group Financial Controller. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing end-to-end financial reporting, cash performance and ongoing integration across a complex multi-entity group.
You will lead group consolidation, deliver a fast and accurate month-end close, strengthen internal controls, and ensure clean statutory and tax compliance across the UK and Europe. You will partner closely with the SLT and Group CFO to drive commercial decision-making, pricing and transformation initiatives. A major focus will be M&A integration, entity simplification and building a scalable, future-ready finance function for the group.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Group consolidation & management reporting
- Cash forecasting, working capital & banking relationships
- International tax, VAT & transfer pricing oversight
- M&A integration & legal entity simplification
- ERP/systems improvement, automation & process efficiencies
- Leadership of a growing finance team
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with strong post-qualified, technical accounting & consolidation experience. You will also be a confident business partner/communicator with a commercial edge and proven team leadership.
Manufacturing/Engineering experience is required, in order to be considered for this role.
