Axon Moore are partnering with an excellent business and brand in Lytham to recruit a newly created Commercial Accountant position. The role will hold a high degree of autonomy and ownership, with the main objective to help with business performance, through an effective combination of business partnering and analytical skills. This role will suit a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA/CIMA nearly or newly qualified individual who can thrive within a business partnering position. This is an excellent role which combines Management Accounting, FP&A and financial system and process improvements.
Responsibilities include:
- To own and maintain the integrated financial reporting model, whilst making consistent improvements around efficiencies.
- Work with existing and new systems using BI tools to provide pro-active reporting improvements and efficient ad-hoc request responses.
- Annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting.
- Business partnering with IT and Finance to bring in new systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability and performance of the finance function.
- Business partnering with the Management Accountant and provide ad-hoc cover.
Ideally candidates will have strong excel skills (and preferably BI experience), analytical and problem solving abilities and strong stakeholder management.
