Axon Moore is proud to be partnering with one of Lancashire's most exciting employers in a time of rapid growth. This role comes with many opportunities for progression, with extremely exciting times ahead for the chosen candidate.

As a key player in the account management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling of goods in, storage, pick, pack and dispatch operations at an expansive 300,000 sq. ft warehouse as well as dealing with key clients on a daily basis.

Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Their success is built on efficiency, technology, and a customer-first mindset. We are now seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Account Manager to join a very busy operations team β€” someone who thrives on problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and process improvement.

This role is focused on operations and customer support, rather than sales or commercial account management. As an Account Manager, you will ensure clients receive a seamless, reliable service experience from onboarding through daily operations. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, resolving queries, supporting system use, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal operations teams.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for any service issues or disruptions.
  • Become an expert user of the company’s order and warehouse management systems (Mintsoft experience highly desirable).
  • Lead customer onboarding, ensuring smooth system setup, data migration, and integration with third-party platforms.
  • Support new customers throughout their transition into company systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Commercial Manager to optimise operational processes through system improvements.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Undertake ad hoc operational and customer support tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in an account management, operations, or customer support role.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and warehouse/order management software (Mintsoft experience preferred).
  • Highly organised, process-driven, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Why Join Our Client?
  • Competitive salary with annual salary reviews.
  • Be part of a growing, tech-enabled logistics business that values operational excellence and teamwork.
  • Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where ideas and initiative are encouraged.
  • Enhanced holiday scheme.
  • Company pension.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Group life insurance.
  • Birthday off every year.
  • Discretionary bonuses.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours (flexible on start and finish times to suit candidate).

Location: On-site.
