A privately owned SME in Lincoln is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. This is a newly created role within a £2m turnover business with clear growth ambitions, offering the chance to make a real impact and shape how finance supports the next phase of development.

You’ll be the go-to person for all financial operations - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being close to the detail.

The role includes managing the full finance cycle, including:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Allocating receipts and payments
  • Posting journals and maintaining accurate ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Chasing outstanding debt
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Managing the relationship with the bank
