We are recruiting for a Commercial Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join a brand new Commercial Finance team within a growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant who is ambitious, technically strong, and looking to establish a career in commercial finance. You will work closely with commercial stakeholders and the wider finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. The role reports into the Head of FP&A and offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning
- Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools
- Analyse monthly actuals vs budget/forecast and provide clear commentary
- Prepare management reporting packs and performance dashboards
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities
- Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business cases
- Work with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
Key skills:
- Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business analysis
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) and BI tools (Power BI advantageous)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge and influence
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
