Marketing & Events Specialist

Location: Keele | Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 | Office Based Axon Moore is partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit a Marketing & Events Specialist.

This role offers genuine ownership, variety and the chance to develop your career within a collaborative marketing team.

Role

Overview: As Marketing & Events Specialist, you will manage the full lifecycle of exhibitions and events across the UK, Europe and Asia, ensuring every detail is planned, delivered and evaluated effectively.

Key responsibilities include: Taking ownership of UK and international trade shows and exhibitions from initial planning through to successful delivery.

Working closely with sales teams across the UK to understand requirements, maximise opportunities and ensure events align with commercial objectives.

Coordinating suppliers, venues, logistics, budgets and event timelines.

Managing exhibition materials, promotional stock and marketing collateral, ensuring stock levels are accurately maintained.

Liaising with warehouse teams to coordinate shipments, collections and event logistics.

Measuring event performance through post‑event reporting, analysing outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve future events.

Maintaining accurate event activity and data through CRM systems, including Salesforce.

Occasionally attending exhibitions and representing the business professionally with customers, partners and stakeholders.

Supporting the wider marketing team with additional marketing activity when required.

About

You: We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys taking ownership and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support a small, collaborative team.

Previous experience within marketing, events or event coordination.

Experience managing events from planning through to execution.

The ability to analyse event success using KPIs, reporting and insights to demonstrate impact.

Experience using CRM systems, with Salesforce experience highly advantageous.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with internal teams and external partners.

A proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to get involved wherever needed. l Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or graphic design software would be advantageous but is not essential.
