Service Coordinator Middleton, M24 | £30,000–£32,000 | Hybrid Working I'm currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a friendly, close-knit business based in Middleton. The business prides itself on its people-focused culture and is looking for someone who can help keep its service team running smoothly. There are two opportunities available: one permanent position and one 6-month fixed-term contract. The Role You'll play an important role in coordinating service engineers, managing customer enquiries and ensuring jobs are organised efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating and scheduling for service engineers. Managing customer enquiries and ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and professionally. Raising quotations, sales orders, service contracts and invoices. Coordinating equipment, parts and deliveries to ensure engineers have everything they need. Liaising with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams. Maintaining accurate records and updating the service management system. Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration and helping manage workloads. About You We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident managing a busy workload. You'll enjoy working with people, communicating with customers and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Ideally, you'll have: Experience in service coordination, scheduling, administration or a similar role. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks. Good Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work well as part of a team. Experience within an engineering or technical environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential. What's on Offer? Salary of £30,000–£32,000. Hybrid working, typically 2–3 days in the office, with flexibility. A welcoming, supportive and people-focused working environment.
