Axon Moore are exclusively partnered with a high growth, Private Equity backed services business in sourcing a high calibre Group Tax Manager to take the lead on all company tax and compliance matters. As a senior member of the business, you will be responsible for driving the overall tax strategy and risk in line with continued business growth both UK and internationally.
Role: Group Tax Manager
Salary: £80,000 + Bonus
Location: Manchester 3 days on site
The Role:
- Leading all matters relating to Tax including shaping the group's tax strategy both in the UK and internationally
- Ensuring a compliant tax function including risk and monitoring UK and international tax legislation
- Managing external tax relationships including advisors and relevant authorities
- Oversight of R&D Tax relief submissions
- Full oversight of indirect tax returns across both UK and international subsidiaries
- Maintaining the groups transfer pricing policy including reporting on each subsidiaries regulations
- Identifying tax savings and general efficiencies across the tax function
- Ensuring timely VAT submissions
The Individual:
- Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT
- Experience of managing a tax function within an international business
- Exposure to a Private Equity backed or similarly fast paced business is desirable
- Strong technical accounting skills relating to tax both UK and internationally
- Capable business partner, able to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
