Group Financial Accountant

Job Description: Finance Analyst Axon Moore is partnering with a high-growth business in Chorley that is expanding its operations. This organization has experienced significant growth in recent years and has attracted a top-tier finance team led by an established CFO. The role is suitable for a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA/CIMA nearly or newly qualified candidate with a strong understanding of journals, stats, and double entries. You will receive mentorship and development from a high-caliber ACA-qualified Finance Manager. Responsibilities include: Preparation of statutory accounts and monthly board packs Preparation of monthly and quarterly covenant reporting Month-end reporting to the Senior Management Team and the Board Handling audit and tax queries Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes Preparation of M&A budgets, completion accounts, and earnout calculations Post-acquisition progress reporting Supporting the delivery of other ad-hoc projects as required The ideal candidate will be ambitious, technically astute, with strong Excel and data management skills, capable of multitasking across multiple projects.
