Axon Moore have partnered with an exciting, high-growth business based in Chorley in recruiting an ambitious, part qualified Finance Analyst who is able to hit the ground running taking on a pivotal role aiding the future growth strategy of the business.
The role involves acting as a business partner to the wider organisation by providing accurate financial information in order for the business to make operational and strategic decisions.
An ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an analytical role, have strong ability within Excel and also studying/looking to study their CIMA qualification.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Support the production of group budgets
Assist in the forecasting for sales, gross margin, direct/overhead cost projections
Assist implementing new efficiencies around setting budgets for internal departments
Working with internal stakeholders to ensure profitability of products/services
Being a valued business partner to all areas of the company to help stakeholders understand performance and support business making decisions
Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting with monthly management accounts
Assist resolving customer queries whilst analysing any potential impacts on business
Assist with the implementation of new systems and projects
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar analytical role
Part Qualified CIMA or looking to study CIMA
Advanced Excel and IT skills
Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
