Axon Moore are supporting a global consumer business with the appointment of an Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager, to work in their Group head office in Central London. This role will be instrumental in the group financial reporting activities, liaising with the various other subsidiary businesses based in the UK and across Europe. This is a highly visible role in the organisation, and requires a technically strong accountant who is able to converse in both English and French to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing group reporting and consolidation, across multiple currencies and international territories
- Managing the group management accounts process
- Playing a key role in the Group annual statutory reporting processes under IFRS, liaising with auditors and running the annual audit on behalf of the business
- Budgeting and forecasting, supporting various teams across relevant territories
- Managing cash and banking position and supporting treasury matters
- Supporting on M&A matters on an ad-hoc basis
The role is based in London and candidates can work in a hybrid way, however they are required to be based in the London office for most of the week and be open to travel on the odd occasion across both the UK and Europe sites.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and experience:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA, ideally trained in a reputable accounting practice
- Experience of group consolidations and group reporting
- Must be able to speak fluent English and have a high level of competency conversing in French
