I am looking for an experienced Customs Manager to join a global logistics organisation.
Working with the Operations Manager and wider Network Team, this role will involve overseeing
and implementing my clients customs processes ensuring compliance at all times.
The role:

Manage end to end import and export processes and customs entries

Manage our customs integration provider

Manage team of customs clerks, to be put in place as the business grows, to ensure smooth

running of the customs processes

Ensure compliance with all relevant import and export regulations

Act as the main contact point for customs related matters for the business

Design processes and build SOPs, circulate to the business and ensure they are being followed

Expert knowledge of imports, exports, and trans-shipments

Familiar with multiple customs systems

Experience creating and discharging transit docs (T1 etc.)

Strong knowledge of customs processes and systems

Proven track record of building and leading a team Experience with bonded goods and bonded clearance
