Axon Moore are working with a business operating in the Property sector to appoint a Client Accountant. The business operates multiple sites within commercial property and covers a lot of other disciplines, making it a one‑stop shop. This is a small, but vibrant company with great growth prospects and people at the heart of their focus.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with RICS Client Money regulations
- Prepare regular client statements, reports, and reconciliations
- Deliver timely management information to clients and internal teams
- Act as the main contact for client accounting queries
- Review and validate financial data before reporting
- Collaborate with Property & Facilities Managers on budgets and financial alignment
- Manage all client money transactions (rent, service charge, insurance, ad‑hoc)
- Reconcile bank accounts, tenant deposits, and holding accounts
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date ledgers and balances
- Ensure proper invoice approval, coding, and financial governance compliance
- Support internal controls, audits, and financial compliance requirements
- Prepare and review service charge budgets and year‑end reconciliations
- Ensure accurate recording and allocation of expenditure and recoveries
- Maintain data accuracy across systems and ensure full audit trails
- Communicate with clients, tenants, and teams while driving process improvements
Experience & Skill Requirements
- Experience in a Service Charge/Client Accountant role, preferably commercial property
- AAT or relevant accounting qualification
- Understanding of VAT and RICS regulations
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables etc)
- Preferable to have experience of using a Property Management system such as Cube, Yardi, etc
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
- Work and communicate in a mature, courteous and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills – approachable and down to earth with good communication skills
