The Company Axon Moore is partnering with a high growth, acquisitive PE backed SaaS business as they look to appoint an experienced Head of Pricing to join a high calibre team in a highly strategic, commercially focused role.
Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + car allowance + bonus
Location: Manchester / Hybrid
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of Pricing, Commercial Strategy, Data, Product and Finance, with significant visibility across the organisation. The successful individual will take ownership of pricing strategy and governance while leading a range of high-impact commercial initiatives focused on ARR growth, margin optimisation, deal quality and operational scalability. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s pricing strategy, driving commercial performance, improving margin, and supporting key value creation initiatives across the business. Working closely with Finance, Sales, Product, and Data teams, you’ll lead pricing optimisation, commercial governance, and high-impact cross-functional projects within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve pricing strategy and governance
- Drive margin improvement and pricing optimisation initiatives
- Support complex commercial deals and improve deal quality
- Partner with Product teams on packaging and monetisation
- Deliver data-led commercial insights and recommendations
- Lead strategic projects focused on revenue growth and operational improvement
Person Specification:
- Strong experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue optimisation
- SaaS or subscription business experience preferred
- A track record of delivering commercially impactful initiatives
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within PE-backed or investor-led environments
- Exposure to ARR, margin improvement and revenue optimisation programmes
- Commercially focused with strong analytical capability
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience within a high-growth or PE-backed environment advantageous
