Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed business in Chorley experiencing rapid growth to recruit an up-and-coming Assistant Management Accountant actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT.
This varied and progressive role requires a driven individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst being hungry for success. In return, you\’ll benefit from high-level exposure, fantastic mentorship and a great benefits package, including hybrid working and study support.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- P&L reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Bank reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting, i.e. group recharges
- Review of sales income reconciliation and posting monthly journals
- Payroll support
- Year-end and audit support
- Ad-hoc duties
Required Experience and Skills:
- Actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA or AAT
- At least 1 years\’ experience within a finance/accounts role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
