Job Overview: I am delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation that are once again looking to add to a high calibre finance function as they bring an Assistant Finance Business Partner onboard. Having worked with this client on several occasions I can say with assurance that they have built an incredible team, with high calibre individuals at all levels of their finance function. Reporting directly into a recently appointed FBP, this role will receive exceptional mentorship and development as you join a "work hard, play hard" environment.

The role will help shape the ongoing development of a key region in the business, looking to leverage your commercial and analytical capability to take a deep dive into understanding PnL and seek improvements. We are looking for someone that will show passion for a tangible product and demonstrate a natural curiosity toward fixing problems and finding opportunities.

Individuals for this role can come from a variety of backgrounds. Whether this be ACA (TS, Restructuring, Valuations, Audit) or CIMA/ ACCA (FP&A, FBP). With the focus being high calibre, we are looking toward individuals who fit culturally and have the ambition to excel.

Salary: £55,000-£59,000 + 15% bonus + 10% pension

Location: South MCR with hybrid working (2 days in the office)

Main Duties:

  • Production of all reporting, inclusive of PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, reforecasting and analysis for the designated region.
  • Business partner with the operational teams to drive value creation, assessing KPI's and assess growth opportunities and streamline costs.
  • Report and monitor capex performance.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance function to drive synergies across the company portfolio and share best practice.

Person Specification:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with clear examples of stakeholder management.
  • A desire to work in a passionate organisation that holds a tangible product.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving.
  • Advanced IT skills.
