Axon Moore are working with a market leading manufacturing & distribution business based in Tameside who are looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and driving commercial performance across a fast-paced organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop strong working relationships with the Executive and Commercial teams and become a trusted advisor.
  • Be the key day to day contact and provider of information to the Executive and Commercial teams.
  • Provide guidance to the Executive and Commercial teams and have the confidence to provide constructive challenge around assumptions and forecasts.
  • Be the key day to day contact and provider of information to Group Finance.
  • Ensure the management accounts reflect accurately the current trading position; this is achieved by working closely with Group Finance at month end.
  • Continuously improve the way data is processed and information presented using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Produce budgets and forecasts in-line with Group timetables.
  • Ensure CFO is made aware immediately of any material or significant issues.
  • Ensure all month end and reporting deadlines are met without compromise.
  • Contribute and help to manage project initiatives directed by the CFO.

Ideal candidate:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance capacity, value-add, stakeholder-management
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment
