Accounts Assistant | Β£26,000 to Β£30,000 | Liversedge | development plan and full study support Axon Moore are proud to be working in partnership with a PE backed manufacturing company as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. With a first-class senior leadership team and very dynamic finance team, this business is offering a bright and ambitious finance individual the opportunity to take the next step in their finance career. The role will offer full study support, mentorship and exposure across a broad range of finance duties. There is a progression route to Management Accountant and beyond within this growing business Key Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Review and posting of monthly accruals & prepayments Prepare month end journals including depreciation, stock movements and internal recharges Inventory monitoring, reconciliations & reporting Tracking and processing supplier invoices, payments and purchase orders Assisting with maintaining costing records for raw materials and finished goods Processing and monitoring of employee expenses Supporting the VAT return process Cashbook postings and bank reconciliations Daily cashflow reporting Other ad-hoc administration/office duties Required Skills and Experience: Studying towards a Qualification (AAT, CIMA or ACCA) Analytical and able to interpret financial information Have previous exposure to a fast paced finance environment Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach Excellent attention to detail Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build relationships across the business Adaptable and flexible nature
